This past Sunday, my husband and I went to our first open house. We are slowly starting our search for a home and decided to stop by a property on our way to a birthday get-together. I’ve been wanting to wear these wet look leggings from Dorothy Perkins ever since I bought them but wasn’t sure how to style them.
The moment I saw the polka dotted shirt in Nordstrom Rack, I knew I had found a perfect pairing. It was long enough to cover my behind and the polka dots added a classic look to the outfit. The heels were a total fluke, I walked by BCBG with my husband and spotted them from the window. I walked in to see if by chance they had my size and as luck would have it, mine were the last pair! I decided it was a sign from the shoe gods and bought them on the spot. The original designer version of this shoe costs a whopping $625 so I knew that at $90 my BCBG version was a steal.
The coral blazer added a fun pop of color and I wore my favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs purse. I’m not really a purse gal (shoes are my vice) but I bought this purse a few months ago during a huge Shopbop sale. I’m usually a very thrifty shopper, I almost always buy things on sale but once in a blue moon, buying the finer things can be a nice splurge.
Update: I submitted this post for the IFB Project #96. Love these sunglasses! π
