Since I’ll be heading back to school for my master’s this fall, my husband and I decided to stop by the Stanford campus and explore a little. The campus is so beautiful I have to pinch myself thinking about the fact that soon I’ll be a student there! Though I’m so excited about being a student again, I’m also super nervous. I hope I can easily get back into the groove of studying and homework again.
It was a gorgeous day out so I made good on my promise to dress more girly and wore a flowy maxi dress (I especially love the chevron striped pattern) with a comfy chambray shirt. Our upcoming trip to Costa Rica is already on my mind so I added the hat (the perfect solution when you don’t have time to style your hair or ahem, as was my case it’s a bit greasy.) I think my newfound love for maxi dresses will continue. Comfortable, yet stylish, now that is my idea of fashion heaven.

March 25, 2013 at 7:46 pmI just bought my own chambray shirt and it might be the coziest thing I've ever worn. You look so chic here – I love the effortless-and-beautiful look, but I'm always a little nervous about trying to pull it off myself 🙂
I recently came across your blog and love your style. Looking forward to reading more!

March 25, 2013 at 9:46 pmI was on the fence about the chambray shirt trend but I love it now! It truly does go with everything. And thank you for your kind words! I'm happy to hear you liked the outfit, I just kinda wing it and hope it looks okay hehe. I checked out your blog also and am so jealous you live in Brooklyn! I grew up there and miss it so much. Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂
xoxo, Kasia
