For those of you who are fans of Gwyneth Paltrow, my apologies for what I’m about to say. I don’t know what it is about her that drives me nuts, but she just seems so pretentious and snotty. Of course I don’t know how she is in real life but in interviews she just comes off completely unrelatable. I get it, you’re a famous actress with a multimillion dollar budget, but must you rub it in our common people faces? A few years ago she launched an equally high-brow lifestyle site called goop. Her must-have pieces for spring made headlines recently because of their whopping total budget, $458,003. I’ve decided to break down some of her looks and scour the web for similar items with a much more realistic budget.
Her first look is called “Everyday Punk.” Check out my version versus hers. Not gonna lie, I feel much better about spending $200 on an outfit than gulp almost 4 grand! What do you think?

And here is my take on goop’s “Pretty Pastels” for spring. Not bad considering my total wasn’t even 10 percent of their total cost. Getting a good deal is ingrained into my DNA. I love hunting down the lowest prices and despite my personal opinion of her, I do appreciate Gwyneth for putting together the looks. Yet nothing is more satisfying for this frugal fashionista than getting almost the same look for a fraction of the cost.
