Like many of us, I love perusing Pinterest for inspiration for decorating my (future) home. There’s so many amazing ideas and the pretty pictures can make any person dream of living there. Though we currently live in an apartment, one day we hope to own a home and be able to decorate in a manner that reflects both of us.
The number one thing on my list (and most girls’ I think) is an amazing walk in closet. I even told my husband if our home doesn’t have one I will have no problem shrinking our bedroom to accommodate a walk in. ha! Hey those shoes gotta be stored somewhere right?!
I bought a tiny little white desk where I’ll be able to study this upcoming fall when I return to school and have been dying to decorate the whole nook as my “office.” For now, it’s still a blank slate but these gorgeous images have got some ideas brewing. My bedside table currently only houses a lamp and one frame so I don’t know if I could pull this look off but it does look beautiful.
And of course, who doesn’t want an amazing living room? The neutral palette, the sleek styling and perfectly placed accessories are my idea of home décor heaven. Though I’m not necessarily going to buy any items right now, I have a whole board full of ideas I’d love to one day explore. I don’t consider myself particularly good at home decorating but I hope that it will come to me organically as I grow and develop my taste and aesthetic.

April 22, 2013 at 8:50 pmWalk in closet – yes please! And I love that bed side table. I have also been recently thinking that I might need a desk. I am thinking if I had a nicely decorated desk it would inspire me to devote more time to working on my individual projects while at home. It takes me twice as long to do most things when on the couch in front of the TV.

April 24, 2013 at 10:21 pmGreat idea! You can do like a how I stay organized post or a how I stay inspired post. I need to start blocking time & going to a coffee shop or somewhere to blog, bc I know I'd be more productive.
