A few years ago I purchased a large black beach hat from Macy’s on a whim. I’d never worn anything like it but fell in love with the look. It’s a classic beach hat with a wide floppy brim that adds a stylish touch to my beach outfits, not to mention incredible sun protection. Ever since then, I’ve loved using hats as a fun way to accent an outfit, especially in the summer time. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the look of the wide brim beach hats. They are a total statement piece in the best way possible. Looks like I’ll be adding a few more of these to my beach hat collection.

June 24, 2013 at 12:34 pmI bought a wide brimmed hat with a ribbon for my honeymoon last year. Definitely too cute to pass up! I think mine may be a little big though because the smallest breezes would nearly carry it away. I guess that's what hatpins are for 🙂
