Peonies are by far my favorite flower. I can’t remember when exactly I discovered them but it has been love at first sight ever since. I love that they come in so many different colors and sizes as well as that showstopping texture that adds a touch of glam to any space. I used them abundantly in our wedding decor, including centerpieces and my gorgeous bouquet.
It’s no surprise then that I look forward to peony season every year. This year it came a bit early and I stumbled upon some gorgeous blooms while grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s. They’re like an instant pick-me-up, I think I literally jumped up and down with excitement when I saw them in the store.
One of the best things about peonies is that you only need a few to make a big impact. I adore the look of a single peony in a small vase or mason jar. But of course, large arrangements are also fabulous and fill the room with a lovely sweet scent while making the space look amazing. How about you guys, what is your favorite flower?
